The Lobos played the Cowboys in basketball in the Cowboys first conference game of the season this past Saturday. We decided to go watch the game for a bit before DJ had to go to work. It was a lot of fun and Jayden loved it. Cue video...
Jayden was all about the band music.
At halftime our friends' son Trace was in a crawling race. It was so funny to see these little babies crawling to half court. Unfortunately Trace wasn't feeling too competitive that day and he didn't win. The little girl that did win was the smallest of the three crawlers! Now that's some competitive spirit!
It was hard not to cheer for the Lobos because the team has always been really good since Steve Alford came on as the head coach. Plus DJ and I loved going to games in the Pit when we lived in Albuquerque. I let out a little howl one time just to prove that I haven't completely deserted them but then I cheered our Pokes on the rest of the time. The Pokes ended up losing by only 10 points so all in all a good start to the season really. They seemed to play fairly well against the Lobos who are a pretty strong team. I hope it's a good season!
